Hello everyone. Going to the interview. It's like selling your skills. Think of it this way you walk into a car dealership and a car salesman would try everything to sell you the car. That person will tell you how much horsepower the car has the leather seats the interior the speed how fast it goes how fast it stops all the safety features. Right. All the things that the things that entice you to buy the car you have to sell your skills in the exact same way. So before you start selling your skills you need to know what exactly the skills that you have to sell. You don't want to sell something that the person is not looking for right. So maybe if you are going for a job for a H.R. job right and they are looking for someone who could interview people and you are trying to sell something else they're not going to buy. So sell something that they're looking for. So how do you know what to sell. Now there are a few resources you could find out. One resource is that you go through the job description. You probably have the job description way ahead of your job interview time. So go through the job description line by line and find out exactly what they are looking for. Then I want you to talk to the headhunter or a recruiter or even the hiring manager or H.R. person and get more information about the job. What are the things that the hiring manager is looking for what are the. What are the dislikes about the job. Also do some company research maybe find out some of the information about the people that who actually work for that company before or maybe for that specific department. Put down your list of things that you're going to be selling for. And then when the interview comes and become like a car salesman I want you to sell your expertise or one by one and make sure every time they go through the interview you had the opportunity this way or the other way to add the skills that they are looking for so you could sell it. So remember this is very important before you go for an interview. You have to think to yourself as a car salesman that you have to sell your skills as like a car. And I'm sure if you have that thinking in your mind there won't be any problem when you go through your job interview. Good luck.
